We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to join our team. This internship is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain operations procurement inventory management and logistics within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to support daily operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with purchasing activities including preparing purchase orders and communicating with suppliers.
- Support inventory management by performing cycle counts tracking material movement and helping maintain accurate records.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends variances or improvement opportunities.
- Participate in process improvement projects focused on efficiency cost reduction and quality.
- Maintain documentation reports and logs to support supply chain operations.
- Collaborate with production quality and logistics teams on daily tasks.
Qualifications :
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Operations Logistics or a related field. Students must be at a minimum sophomore standing with a GPA 2.8 or higher.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Willingness to learn ask questions and take initiative.
ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP Oracle or similar).
- Knowledge of inventory control concepts (FIFO cycle counting safety stock).
- Basic understanding of sourcing or logistics.
