The Enterprise Architect optimizes business operations through the design development and improvement of the current IT infrastructure in alignment with IT strategy and enterprise architecture direction and standards. This position is based out of our Corporate Office in Baton Rouge LA.

Compensation Overview:

The annual salary range for this position is $100000 - $125000 / year - commensurate with experience and we provide annual bonus opportunities based on tenure.

Position Overview:

As the Enterprise Architect it will be your responsibility to partner with senior leadership and team members to evaluate our current IT infrastructure and propose enterprise architecture solutions and process improvements for optimizing business operations aligning IT strategy with business objectives cloud computing and systems visualization.

A day in the life:

• Responsible for creating application architecture and design documents in compliance with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA); create review designs and design patterns
• Create business architecture models to reflect the organizations strategies and goals and create and implement business visions and goals
• Evaluate internal functions business development strategies and IT processes and suggest improvements
• Collaborate with other software developers business analysts and software architects to plan design develop test and maintain business applications
• Provide a balanced view of all key architectural quality metrics such as performance scalability reliability availability agility and interoperability
• Advise and mentor others on application or systems issues resolution and debugging
• Design and implementation of SOA Services based on past SOA implementation experiences
• Participate in SOA Governance activities
• Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code
• Develop refine and tune integrations between applications
• Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties

Who you are and what you know:

• Demonstrated ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information from multiple sources in order to analyze and solve complex enterprise software problems
• Demonstrated communication collaboration and relationship building in order to work across multiple teams at all levels of the organization and effectively communicate difficult technical concepts
• Strong background development particularly back-end development
• Strong background in cloud architecture
• Strong understanding and background in service-oriented architecture implementations
• Strong project management skills
• Managing configurations including IIS Windows Server Windows Desktop
• Familiar with software design patterns
• Solid understanding of Microsoft SQL database and ORM concepts
• Strong knowledge and implementation expertise in integration patterns
• Demonstrated ability to do front end development with standard frameworks (MVC jQuery Bootstrap)
• Proficient in different web service open standards including WS-Policy WS-Security WSAddressing and other WS-* stack

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School Education or Equivalent
• Bachelors degree preferred in Computer Science MIS Business or related field
• 5 years development experience
• 3 years of experience with Mulesoft or other API management software
• 3 years of cloud architecture experience
• 5 years of service-oriented architecture experience
• 1 years of AWS cloud development experience
• 6 months of outdoor advertising experience with emphasis on proof of performance
  document generation and Salesforce API development

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• The primary work environment is an office
• The physical demands for this position include seeing (with a focus on reading) sitting more than 50% of the time talking and walking
• Nights spent traveling away from home are less than 10%
