We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Urban Development team in Canberra. This role offers the chance to work on diverse high-impact projects and contribute your expertise in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality civil design solutions across a range of projects.
Contribute to the development of budgets and preparation of fee proposals.
Undertake detailed civil design including earthworks drainage car parks roads pavements and utilities.
Collaborate closely with architects landscape architects and other engineers at project meetings.
Support project management activities including scheduling and reporting.
Assist with bids proposals and other business development initiatives.
Promote continuous improvement in engineering processes and delivery.
Qualifications :
Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) with NER/RPEQ accreditation
3 years experience in civil design for land development / subdivisions / greenfield projects.
Solid technical expertise in civil design with knowledge of relevant guidelines Australian Standards and Local Council Planning Schemes.
Familiarity with greenfield / brownfield projects water environments and water resource management.
Proficiency in civil design software such as AutoCAD 12D Drains and Microsoft Project.
Experience in QA processes and design reviews.
