- Assembly: Position fit and fasten wires harnesses parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools hoists and other equipment.
- Technical Interpretation: Read and accurately interpret blueprints electrical schematics technical diagrams bills of materials (BOM) and written instructions.
- System Installation: Install mechanical components (pumps valves etc.) electrical systems (wiring control panels) plumbing and interior fixtures (flooring walls seats windows).
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Identify and troubleshoot assembly problems or malfunctions perform repairs rework and preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
- Quality Control: Monitor production processes perform testing and carry out quality checks; Follow task time and quality requirements outlined in operating instructions processes and MRP routing
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all company safety procedures and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) regulations maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Handle and store goods and raw materials in the factory/warehouse
- Perform manufacturing production and testing tasks as planned by the MRP
- Report process drifts or quality issues to Team Leader
- Complete tally sheets in MRP tools when required
- Adhere to ESD rules for electronics production
- Ensure compliance with EHS rules
Qualifications :
- 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment (electronics electrical or mechanical devices)
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail for handling components and assemblies
- Manufacturing effectiveness and process efficiency
- Strong focus on quality and continuous improvement
- Excellent teamwork communication and transparency
- Proficiency in English required
Additional Information :
- Position based in Plattsburgh NY; must be willing to relocate
- Relocation allowance: $2000
- Salary up to $3050 hourly
- Possibility for OT
- This position is 2nd Shift (2pm-10:30pm)
