Looker Engineer

With a team of Software Engineers you will take off on a journey to create a strategic product to facilitate and accelerate customer solutions on Google Cloud. You engineer based on the requirements of the project but you are also not afraid to suggest solutions and propose your own ideas. You are a Google Cloud Expert or are looking to become one in no time and learn from the best.

Qualifications :

• Experience with LookML.
• Excellent knowledge of Python. For example:
  • Object-Oriented programming in python
  • Testing methodologies in python
  • Python specific concepts such as Generators list comprehension 
• Excellent knowledge of SQL. For example:
  • Window functions
  • Order of execution
• Hands-on knowledge of Terraform and Bash.
• Data modelling (Star schema data vault).
• Implement given architectures using technologies like (Google Cloud specific solutions in parenthesis).
  • Apache Airflow (Cloud Composer).
  • Databases (BigQuery)
  • Object storage (Google Cloud Storage).
  • Message queues (Pub/Sub).
  • Apache Beam (Dataflow).
• Hand on experience with managing CI/CD pipelines and Git repositories..
• Knowledge of tools included in whats commonly referred to as the modern data stack.
