Job Summary

Job Purpose/Summary

The Sales Manager leads coordinates and optimizes the commercial activities within their scope. They define the sales strategy in line with the companys objectives manage sales teams (field sales inside sales...) ensure the achievement of revenue profitability and customer satisfaction goals and actively contribute to portfolio development.

They also ensure alignment of commercial practices with the Groups values and brand image.

Primary Accountabilities

  1. Strategy Development & Execution
  • Define and implement the sales action plan for their area/segment.
  • Conduct continuous market and competitive intelligence.
  • Analyze market trends and identify growth levers.
  • Contribute to pricing strategy in collaboration with relevant departments.
  1. Sales Team Management
  • Supervise support and motivate sales teams (training coaching performance reviews).
  • Monitor individual and collective performance through defined KPIs.
  • Organize regular sales meetings.
  1. Business Development
  • Participate in negotiation and management of key account contracts.
  • Develop a strategic professional network in key industries.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities or service diversification.
  • Track sales performance profitability and customer satisfaction indicators.
  1. Performance Monitoring
  • Produce regular reports for management (targets revenue margins etc.).
  • Analyze commercial results and implement corrective actions.
  • Actively support debt collection in collaboration with sales teams.
  1. Continuous Improvement & Cross-Department Coordination
  • Contribute to improving sales processes and digital tools.
  • Gather customer needs from the field to inform offer evolution.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing to align campaigns and tools.

 


Qualifications :

Competence & Requirements

  • Bachelors / Masters: degree in Business Marketing Management Logistics or equivalent (business school or university).
  • 5 to 7 years in B2B sales including at least 2 to 3 years managing a sales team. Experience in transport logistics or shipping is a plus.
  • Strong B2B sales techniques and complex negotiations
  • Strategic planning and key account management
  • Proficient in CRM tools sales cycles KPIs and office software
  • Solid knowledge of finance pricing segmentation and legal framework for sales
  • Ability to generate reports and conduct strategic analysis
  • Strong leadership and team-building ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Analytical mindset result-driven
  • Autonomy rigor responsiveness and initiative
  • Strong customer focus
  • Professional fluency in English French is an advantage (spoken and written)
