Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with team management and property managers
- Respond to emails phone calls and communicate effectively with HBM team and property manager
- Managing and supervising a janitorial team requires a combination of leadership organization and communication skills.
- Review and submit time cards in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas within the building
- Restock and pickup supplies
- Clean/sanitize restrooms disinfect surfaces clean parking lot walk path seating areas andremove and dispose trash and recycling to designated areas
- Maintain safety signage during wet conditions
- Light ground maintenance
- Polish hallways and floors
- Use of a pressure wash machine
- Use of a leaf blower/handheld blower
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Utilize a smartphone to upload information to HBM communicate by email respond to phone calls and text messages
- Follow safety procedures
- Report safety issues or building problems (i.e. burnt light bulbs etc.)
- Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor or property manager
Schedule: Sunday/Tuesday: 6am-2:30pm Wednesday: 2:30pm-10pm Friday: 6am-2:30pm Saturday: 2:30pm-10pm
- Days off: Monday and Thursday
- 40 hours a week
- **On-call to respond to emergencies as needed**
Compensation:$21.00/per hour
Skills/Qualifications:
- Must pass background check
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Must have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle
- Previous janitorial custodian experience or related experience is preferred and willing to train
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
- Must have good public relations skills and communication
- Applicants must perform basic manual labor clean common areas press push pull frequently lift 40lbs carry a minimum of 25lbs (up to 50lbs) be able to reach overhead grasp objects bend kneel walk crawl squat climb stretch walk up and down the stairs and use a ladder climb up and down and stand throughout their shifts.
