My client has an immediate requirement for an electrically biasedMulti Skilled Maintenance Engineerto be based at their site in the Dumfries and Galloway region. The successfulMulti Skilled Maintenance Engineerwill be joining a successful Global business where you will work with a team of friendly engineers carrying out installations planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns to the manufacturing machinery on site.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful business working Monday to Friday only on an alternative shift pattern offering an attractive basic salary and benefits package. If youre a self-motivated hands-on engineer looking for your next opportunity this may be the role for you.
Multi Skilled Maintenance EngineerRequirements:
- Must have completed a recognised apprenticeship program and hold an Electrical qualification to level 3 as a minimum.
- Experience working on single and 3 phase systems.
- Have strong electrical fault finding and diagnostic experience.
- Hold strong mechanical skills.
- Previous experience working on PLCs.
- Proven ability to work with drives gears and motors pneumatic hydraulics and conveyors.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical engineering diagrams and schematics.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
