As the Director of Compliance & Privacy at Allergy Partners (AP) you will report to the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer and serve as the organizations Privacy Officer. Youll be responsible for establishing implementing and overseeing an effective healthcare compliance program aligned with the Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General Compliance Program Guidance Federal Sentencing Guidelines standards and HIPAA Privacy and Security requirements.

In this leadership role youll design and manage the ongoing operations of APs Compliance and Privacy Programs ensuring the organization upholds the highest standards of integrity regulatory compliance and ethical conduct. Youll collaborate closely with the Director of Compliance Auditing & Monitoring and senior leadership to validate program effectiveness reduce risk and promote a culture of compliance across our multi-state physician practice network.

What Youll Do

  • Lead the Compliance & Privacy Programs: Develop implement and oversee a comprehensive corporate compliance and privacy framework that aligns with OIG guidance HIPAA and federal and state healthcare laws.
  • Serve as Privacy Officer: Act as the designated Privacy Officer for Allergy Partners managing privacy complaints ensuring compliance with patient privacy rights and overseeing the protection and use of protected health information (PHI).
  • Conduct Risk Assessments: Direct and participate in ongoing risk assessments to identify areas of compliance vulnerability and risk and develop action plans and corrective measures to address findings.
  • Investigate & Resolve Issues: Oversee the review evaluation and resolution of compliance ethics and privacy concerns ensuring fair consistent and timely responses to reported issues.
  • Develop Policies & Procedures: Create revise and maintain policies that promote compliance ethics and privacy standards across all levels of the organization.
  • Foster a Culture of Integrity: Promote awareness and adherence to Allergy Partners Code of Conduct and compliance principles through communication training and visible leadership.
  • Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with leaders in Legal Human Resources IT Operations and other departments to ensure coordinated handling of compliance and privacy issues.
  • Manage Compliance Training Programs: Design and deliver effective compliance education for all employees including onboarding role-specific and ongoing training initiatives.
  • Monitor & Report Performance: Evaluate the effectiveness of the compliance program prepare reports and updates for the General Counsel Compliance Committee and Board of Directors and recommend improvements.
  • Oversee Auditing & Monitoring Activities: Partner with the Director of Compliance Auditing & Monitoring to validate internal controls assess billing and coding compliance and implement monitoring tools.
  • Support Investigations & Regulatory Reporting: Assist in reporting potential violations to enforcement agencies as appropriate and maintain appropriate documentation and follow-up.
  • Provide Strategic Leadership: Manage the Compliance & Privacy team guide staff development oversee department budgets and ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Stay Ahead of Change: Monitor evolving federal and state regulations evaluate impact on Allergy Partners and lead proactive compliance and policy updates.

Qualifications

What Youll Bring

  • 10 years of compliance privacy or audit leadership experience in a healthcare organization; multi-state physician practice experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state healthcare laws HIPAA OIG compliance guidance and healthcare reimbursement systems.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting risk assessments leading investigations and managing corrective actions.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams and manage complex organizational relationships.
  • Exceptional communication presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across all levels.
  • Bachelors degree required; masters degree and CHC/CHPC certifications preferred.
