About the role...

The role is based in our London GSQ office and periodic travel will be required to visit suppliers and project partners across the UK and Europe.

Were looking for a highly organised and proactive Supply Chain Officer to join our Procurement team on a temporary basis supporting strategic initiatives across multiple procurement and product categories. Youll play a key role in sourcing and transforming our supplier landscape with a particular focus on sustainable materials and mass-production delivery.

This position is central to a major strategic project contributing to the development and launch of an innovative product range across 10 European markets. Working closely with Product Design and Project Management colleagues youll develop a deep technical understanding of our products and ensure smooth transition from development to market delivery. You will also support cost-reduction activities that align with current product design.

What Youll Be Doing...

  • Creating and implementing supply chain plans for sustainable and key product ranges.
  • Managing supplier relationships and day-to-day operations to ensure activities align with project timelines.
  • Sourcing suppliers and conducting due diligence across sustainable materials timber and hardware categories.
  • Partnering with Product Development and Supply Chain teams to create source and develop strategic products.
  • Supporting project planning and transition activities from new product development into mass production.
  • Identifying and sourcing alternative materials and contributing to innovative product development when required.
  • Considering whole-life product costs including maintenance spare parts and inventory management.
  • Completing administrative tasks with selected suppliers including purchase order follow-up deliveries and payments.

Skills & Experience

  • Degree in a business-related discipline with supply chain experience.
  • MCIPS or similar qualification is advantageous.
  • Strong strategic sourcing experience; manufacturing experience beneficial.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing timelines.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade.
  • Excellent supplier relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach.
  • Experience with ERP SAP or MRP II preferred.
  • Full UK driving licence.
