Job Summary

Medication Access Program Associate
St. Vincent de Paul Cincinnati (SVDP) has served residents of Greater Cincinnati for over 150 years with basic needs such as food medicine and homelessness prevention through its outreach center in the West End and 53 parish-based volunteer Conferences. SVDP provides holistic direct assistance and systemic change services while treating neighbors in need with dignity and compassion.
Scope of Position:The Medication Access Program Associate will collaborate with SVDPs VP of Pharmacy to process medication donations in Ohios first medication repository. This position will implement processes for the safe effective and efficient intake and distribution of medication donations for the purpose of improving medication access to neighbors in need served by Ohios Charitable Healthcare Network of free clinics and charitable pharmacies.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with leadership to process medication donations from long-term care pharmacies nursing homes and end-users including sorting inventorying and cataloguing donations
  • Assist in coordinating medication distribution to fulfill medication orders from Ohios free clinics and charitable pharmacies
  • Participate in quality improvement and data collection initiatives to further advance the goals of the Medication Access Program
Qualifications: Experience working in healthcare settings including medication warehouse or pharmacies. Strong organizational attention to detail interpersonal written and oral communication. Experience in healthcare databases and data management. Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds in a faith-based setting. Certified pharmacy technician preferred.
Work Hours: Weekdays 7:30 A.M.-4 P.M.
Work Environment: Staff member will primarily work in a warehouse environment adequately lighted heated and ventilated in Milford Ohio.
Physical Requirements:Walking standing bending carrying items up to 35 lbs driving an automobile
