Job Description:

The new role needs knowledge on 5G E2E Small Cell Network integration with ORAN and OAM feature testing Automation System Upgrades and backward compatibility testing.

Job scope:

Integration and validation for E2E solution across multiple NEs Small Cells Cloud based EMS ORAN etc..

• Possess prior knowledge to work on ORAN Architecture with understanding of Yang Data Model and NETCONF protocol
• Possess prior knowledge to work on Cloud technologies Microservices Architecture with understanding of Native SNMP V3 & TR069 device management.
• Proactive fast paced learning to adapt to 5G architecture & 5G Small Cell features.
• Critically review requirements HLD and own Test planning for requirement and validation coverage for new features & regression of previous release features.
• Accelerate automation of new features to improve regression test coverage.
• Monitor test execution progress to meet quality and timeline.
• Lead debugging of complex issues in the lab /customer network perform requirement analysis Verification risk assessment rigorous test planning customer documentation reviews CR tracking for product issues and perform proactive follow-ups for product quality improvements.
• Good knowledge in Python and Robot Framework and proven experience in scripting.

Knowledge skills and abilities
Educational qualifications: Bachelor or Master degree in engineering (Electronics & Communications; Computer Science EEE)

Experience: 4 plus years of relevant wireless domain experience.

Competencies

• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast paced innovative environment.
• Strong understanding of O-RAN Alliance specifications (especially O1 R1 interfaces)
• Familiarity with Near-RT RIC and Non-RT RIC functions SMO (Service Management and Orchestration).
• Exposure to rApps (non-RT RIC applications) and their interaction with O-RAN components
• Ability to read write and validate YANG models and Knowledge of how YANG models are used to represent network configuration/state.
• Hands-on with NETCONF/RESTCONFprotocols for configuration management and usage of REST API.
• Understanding of RPCs notifications and capabilities exchange.
• Hands-on with O-RAN test frameworks simulators and stubs.
• Hands on in Python scripting and Robot Framework
• Experience in IPSec/PKI Testing ( More details in the trailing Job description below)
