Tintern seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic ELC Co-Educator to join our Early Learning Centre team on a full time ongoing basis.

About the Role

Working closely with the ELC Teacher and the Head of Early Learning the ELC Co-Educator supports the delivery of high quality learning experiences for young children. The role involves assisting with planning observations and documentation supporting childrens developmental needs and contributing to a warm and collaborative learning environment. This position requires a caring calm and proactive approach a genuine enjoyment of working with young children and an ability to work effectively as part of a team.

This is a full time ongoing teaching role commencing Term 1 2026.

About You

You will bring a genuine passion for early childhood education and a calm supportive presence to the classroom.

You will demonstrate:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
  • A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework EYLF and developmental domains
  • Experience supporting teachers to deliver high quality learning programs
  • Confidence in completing observations reflections and documentation
  • Ability to engage children in small groups and individually
  • A proactive approach to setting up and packing down learning environments
  • Strong communication skills and a positive approach when interacting with families
  • Willingness to administer first aid and medication in line with school protocols
  • Excellent organisation teamwork and time management
  • A warm patient and professional manner
  • The ability to remain calm and supportive in a busy environment
  • A commitment to child safety and upholding Tintern Grammars values
  • Valid Working with Children Check (Employee)
  • A current Level 2 First Aid qualification
