Tintern seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic ELC Co-Educator to join our Early Learning Centre team on a full time ongoing basis.

About the Role

Working closely with the ELC Teacher and the Head of Early Learning the ELC Co-Educator supports the delivery of high quality learning experiences for young children. The role involves assisting with planning observations and documentation supporting childrens developmental needs and contributing to a warm and collaborative learning environment. This position requires a caring calm and proactive approach a genuine enjoyment of working with young children and an ability to work effectively as part of a team.

This is a full time ongoing teaching role commencing Term 1 2026.

About You

You will bring a genuine passion for early childhood education and a calm supportive presence to the classroom.

You will demonstrate:

A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework EYLF and developmental domains
Experience supporting teachers to deliver high quality learning programs
Confidence in completing observations reflections and documentation
Ability to engage children in small groups and individually
A proactive approach to setting up and packing down learning environments
Strong communication skills and a positive approach when interacting with families
Willingness to administer first aid and medication in line with school protocols
Excellent organisation teamwork and time management
A warm patient and professional manner
The ability to remain calm and supportive in a busy environment
A commitment to child safety and upholding Tintern Grammars values
Valid Working with Children Check (Employee)
A current Level 2 First Aid qualification
