Job Summary
Overview
The Salvation Armys Divisional Headquarters in Canton is hiring a Driver and offers the following benefit package to part-time employees:

Location: Canton MA area
Hours/week: Casual/On-Call
Exemption: Non-exempt
Pay Range: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
*starting pay varies depending on experience and qualifications*
Drive load and unload box truck for all MA Divisional Events per Divisional Calendar
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Pick up truck at rental location.
- Load equipment/supplies into box truck
- Drive box truck to event location.
- Unload truck and assist with setup as needed.
- Return truck to rental location.
- Remain up to date with Keep SAfe Trainings
- Perform other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Requirements:
High school or equivalent
Work Experience:
At least 1 year of experience as a professional driver (e.g. commercial delivery personal chauffeur etc.)
Other Qualifications:
- Must have a valid drivers license and ability to drive rental box truck safely at any time
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Willingness to work irregular hours
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs
- Must understand and appreciate the Mission of The Salvation Army
