Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging well-structured lessons that support and challenge Year 3 pupils of all abilities.
- Work collaboratively with fellow Year 3 teachers to develop high-quality planning curriculum content and assessment strategies.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress providing regular feedback and setting clear ambitious targets.
- Differentiate teaching effectively to meet diverse learning needs including pupils with SEN EAL or additional support requirements.
- Create a nurturing inclusive and stimulating learning environment that promotes independence curiosity and confidence.
- Build strong positive relationships with parents and carers through clear and timely communication.

Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum particularly Year 3 expectations
Excellent behaviour management communication and organisational skills
Experience teaching in primary settings ideally KS2
A reflective adaptable and positive approach to teaching
Commitment to inclusion high standards and continuous improvement
