In order to support this plan we are recruiting an Accounts Receivable Specialist - Past Dues Collection (North America & LATAM)
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team in São Paulo. The selected professional will be responsible for managing past-due collections for the North America and Latin America (LATAM) regions ensuring effective cash flow management timely recovery of outstanding receivables and strong client relationships.
Main activities
- Oversee and manage the collection process for overdue accounts across North America and LATAM.
- Maintain direct communication with customers to ensure timely payment and resolve outstanding issues.
- Analyze account discrepancies and coordinate with internal stakeholders (Finance Sales Legal Customer Success) to address and resolve them.
- Regularly update and reconcile accounts receivable ledgers.
- Prepare and deliver detailed reports on collection activities aging analysis and payment trends.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of collection processes and credit control policies.
Essential requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable credit control or collections.
- Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken);
- Prior experience managing accounts across international regions (North America and/or LATAM) preferred.
- Solid knowledge of Excel and CRM ERP systems (e.g. Sales Force Netsuite or similar).
- Strong analytical organizational and communication skills.
- High level of professionalism accountability and attention to detail.
Location:
On-site position at Atemes São Paulo office.
Monday to Thursday required; Friday attendance optional.
