NurseAmerica is seeking a dedicated Nurse Manager to manage the Labor & Delivery unit in Las Vegas NV. In this role youll be responsible for ensuring that mothers newborns and families receive safe high-quality care. Youll guide and support nursing staff coordinate daily operations and work closely with physicians and hospital leadership to achieve clinical and operational goals.
- Oversee the daily operations of the Labor & Delivery unit
- Ensure patient care meets the highest standards of safety and quality
- Supervise mentor and evaluate nursing staff
- Manage staffing scheduling and resources to support patient needs
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Foster a positive team-oriented environment for staff and families
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN required)
- Current RN license in Nevada
- At least 2 years of clinical experience (Labor & Delivery required)
- 2 years of progressive management experience
- Current certifications: ACLS NRP and BCLS
- Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
