Job Summary

Job Title : Mainframe COBOL Developer (IBM DB2 MQ-Series Taxation 7years Exp)

Location:Albany NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Qualifications:

Experience supporting a Government Taxation organization including technical design development maintenance and end-user support for Tax and Revenue Accounting Systems.
Strong background in systems analysis and the design of multi-tiered transactional applications.
Proficient in Java development within an IBM environment using IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD) and deploying applications on WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
Hands-on experience working with IBM AIX DB2 databases.
Experience using IBM MVS JCL in a mainframe environment for job control and batch operations.
Experience with IBM MQ-Series for messaging and integration.
Skilled in using TSO (Time Sharing Option) within mainframe environments.
Experience working with CICS for transaction processing in mainframe systems.
Proficient in COBOL programming within an IBM mainframe environment.
Experience authoring detailed technical design specification documents for complex component-based systems.
