We are currently recruiting for a Revenue Analyst to join the commissions division of a leading financial services group. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented analytical individual who enjoys working in a structured process-driven environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing reconciling and reporting on revenue streams to ensure accuracy compliance with contracts and alignment to internal financial policies. You will play a key role in providing meaningful insights to management and driving operational efficiency within the commissions function.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed revenue analysis and allocations in line with contracts and internal policies
Prepare and review reconciliations of revenue accounts and funds
Monitor revenue flows identify variances and trends and compile monthly performance analyses
Review and interpret advisor contracts and fee-sharing agreements to ensure compliance
Assist with month-end reporting including revenue reporting and variance analysis
Support process automation and continuous improvement initiatives within the team
Present data insights clearly to financial and non-financial stakeholders
Qualification and Skills Required:
BCom Degree in Accounting Finance or Financial Management (essential)
35 years experience in a revenue analysis or corporate finance role ideally within financial services
Strong experience with financial analysis reconciliations and reporting
Knowledge of investments bonds or related financial products advantageous
Skills: Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP formulas etc.) Strong numerical ability and analytical thinking Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
