Job Summary

The Document Controller is responsible for establishing and maintaining an efficient secure and accurate system for managing all official project documents. This role ensures strict version control proper archiving and timely distribution of drawings correspondence and technical specifications across all project teams and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Document Management: Control the flow (receipt issuance distribution) of all project documentation including engineering drawings transmittals reports and correspondences.

Filing & Indexing: Maintain and update the physical and electronic filing system (DMS) ensuring all records are accurately cataloged indexed and easy to retrieve.

Version Control: Ensure the latest revision of any document is clearly identified and distributed archiving superseded documents securely.

Transmittals: Prepare issue and track document transmittals to consultants subcontractors and clients.

Compliance: Ensure all documentation practices comply with company standards and project procedures.
