Job Summary

We have the job for you! Join our Detroit Lakes team of SCUBA divers that jump in and clean out those annoying lake weeds. Youll get a great workout from the physically demanding job and get to be part of a great team. Plus youll get to work on the lake all day!

Full-time or Part-time Summer Seasonal opportunities

No SCUBA experience required. We will help you become certified for the position.

Key Responsibilities:

Work underwater above water and along the lake shoreline with a team of 2 to 6 other divers
Efficiently and effectively remove lake weeds in the service area by the root of the plant
Haul removed vegetation from the lake shore and dock to the truck and trailer

Working Conditions:

Love of working outdoors and on lakes is essential. You must also be willing to work in poor weather such as rain high humidity and heat.
Each day will begin at our shop in Detroit Lakes MN. You will travel together as a crew in a company truck to each routed job. The day will conclude with cleaning up from the jobs back at the shop.
Approximately 60% of your time will be working on the job site and 40% will be spent on off job tasks such as driving weed disposal gear cleaning and equipment care.
Day length can vary based on jobs but will typically be 8-10hrs and start at 8am
This is a great job for high school and college students teachers and anyone interested in working hard outside on the area lakes.

Required Skills:

Preferred Qualifications: - Physically able to complete manual labor - lift and carry 80lbs ability to swim push/pull wheelbarrows - SCUBA Certification (we can provide information on how to get certified)

Required Education:

High School Diploma** Must be a United States Citizen to qualify**
