Our Social Infrastructure and Citizens Services team has an opportunity forCleanersto join the Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM) team located in will deliver high-quality cleaning and sanitisation services across the MTM rail network which includes a fleet of over 460 three-carriage trains that run on anetwork consisting of 15 lines.
This position involves working unsupervised to provide a high-quality cleaning service. The position involves manual handling and lifting and may require you to stand and/or walk for lengthy periods. You will also be working in varying temperatures and weather conditions and noisy environments at times due to working near trains and trams.
A number of casual night shift opportunities (8pm to 3am Monday to Friday) are available around Melbournes Outer suburbs.
We are looking to fill position in the following areas:
Northeast Area Macloed and Hurstbridge
North Area - Broadmeadows Craigieburn Mernda and Epping
Southeast Area - Ringwood Bayswater Upper Ferntree Gully and Glen Waverley
South Area Kananook & Frankston
East Area Sunbury Watergardens & Calder Park

Desire to work in a fast paced challenging environment where you will work as part of a high-performance team focused on working safely and diligently.
Having strong Communication and Customer Service skills
Previous Cleaning Experience is preferrable but not essential.
Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card desirable but not necessary
Must have Current National Police Check (within twelve months from date of issue)
Candidates having their own transportation will be prioritized.
