Our Social Infrastructure and Citizens Services team has an opportunity forCleanersto join the Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM) team located in will deliver high-quality cleaning and sanitisation services across the MTM rail network which includes a fleet of over 460 three-carriage trains that run on anetwork consisting of 15 lines.

This position involves working unsupervised to provide a high-quality cleaning service. The position involves manual handling and lifting and may require you to stand and/or walk for lengthy periods. You will also be working in varying temperatures and weather conditions and noisy environments at times due to working near trains and trams.

A number of casual night shift opportunities (8pm to 3am Monday to Friday) are available around Melbournes Outer suburbs.

We are looking to fill position in the following areas:

• Northeast Area Macloed and Hurstbridge

• North Area - Broadmeadows Craigieburn Mernda and Epping

• Southeast Area - Ringwood Bayswater Upper Ferntree Gully and Glen Waverley

• South Area Kananook & Frankston

• East Area Sunbury Watergardens & Calder Park

• Desire to work in a fast paced challenging environment where you will work as part of a high-performance team focused on working safely and diligently.

• Having strong Communication and Customer Service skills

• Previous Cleaning Experience is preferrable but not essential.

• Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card desirable but not necessary

• Must have Current National Police Check (within twelve months from date of issue)

• Candidates having their own transportation will be prioritized.
