Job Summary

- Visit homes and businesses across Nevada to collect samples for asbestos mold and lead testing.
- Use proper tools and follow safety rules to gather samples.
- Test samples on-site using lab equipment.
- Inspect buildings to check for asbestos mold or lead.
- Record your findings and keep clear notes.
- Analyze results and decide if there are any hazards.
- Write simple reports for clients with your findings and suggestions.
- Work with restoration companies contractors and insurance companies.
- Keep up to date with safety rules and regulations.
- Take care of lab tools and equipment.
- Help keep track of supplies.
- Take part in training to improve your skills.
- Bachelors degree in science (like environmental science chemistry or biology) is preferred.
- Certifications in asbestos mold or lead testing are a plus.
- Experience testing for asbestos mold or lead is helpful.
- Must pay attention to detail and follow instructions.
- Good at solving problems and understanding test results.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Able to work alone manage your time and travel regularly.
- Must be committed to safety.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
