Department: Settlement Department
This is a high-responsibility client-facing role for someone sharp detail-oriented and proactive. As our Settlement Officer youll be the final checkpoint before closing ensuring every funding is smooth compliant and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare settlement statements and ensure all financials are balanced
- Communicate with buyers sellers attorneys lenders and agents to finalize details
- Verify clients wiring instructions
- Set up wires in the bank for disbursement per verified wiring instructions
- Maintain accurate disbursement information in every file being disbursed
- Ensure that all disbursements made at closing match the prepared settlement statements
Requirements:
- Prior experience in title escrow or real estate closings preferred
- Strong understanding of closing procedures and documentation
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
- Comfortable with deadlines compliance and high-stakes transactions
