CIVIL ENGINEER - Federal/Public Works
Role Description:Civil Engineer with at least 5 years experience and will be a registered Professional Engineer for our Irvine role will be a Civil Engineer to work on Public Works/Federal Practice Area. This position will provide leadership guide business development and project management on local Southern California (and beyond as needed) engineering projects.

Education:Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
- Duties:Serve as Civil Engineer in the development of design schematics construction plans specifications and estimates.
- Coordinate with EITs designers and drafters.
- Review shop drawings perform field observations and facilitate the construction administration.
- Support project proposals scopes budgets and manage execution and tracking of projects.
- Complete projects within client specifications budgets and schedules.
- Coordinate online meetings preparation of meeting agendas and distribution of meeting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understands follows and enforces the business process
- Productively collaborates with PMs and encourages teams to achieve success and camaraderie amongst each other
- Understands and follows QMS and Quality initiatives. Assists PM on ensuring that quality control measures are being adhered to on projects and daily operations.
- Understands duties and responsibilities possesses necessary job knowledge and technical skills maintains job knowledge current.
- Assist with appropriate administrative and project support tasks supporting the needs of the PM on assigned project tasks.
- Contributes to successful delivery and performance of projects
- Complete assignments on-time within budget and with highest level of quality.
- Routinely proposes and produces more effective ways to accomplish tasks.
- Assists PM as needed on work planning. Prepares and follows comprehensive Project Framework Instructions and proper work planning for a project. Assists PM on ensuring proper staff is assigned and utilized on their projects.
- Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE).
- Registered Professional Engineer
- 5years of civil engineering design experience
- Proficient in MicroStation AutoCAD and Civil 3D a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and Project
- Ability to work independently in a team environment and to manage multiple projects with limited supervision
- Excellent verbal and written skills communicating engineering information clearly and concisely.
