Electronic Assembler III

Irvine California USA (Onsite)

Position Summary

Thales is seeking an Electronic Assembler III in Irvine CA. The Electronics Assembler III is in charge of performing within his / her area of technological specification tasks in the manufacturing process in accordance with the manufacturing documentation and the time allocated using the resources available (including conventional and/or digital machine tools) and inspects his / her own work. To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Works from assembly instructions parts lists wire lists diagrams verbal instructions and notes to assemble wire and install a wide variety of components

  • Identifies and selects components to be integrated into sub-assembly and assembly units

  • Utilizes a wide range of tools including soldering iron

  • Interfaces with PC to record job activities

  • Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings and understand engineering revision nomenclature

  • Know how to read and follow assembly work instructions including drawing assemblies and MAI (manufacturing assembly instructions)

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or one-year certificate from college/technical school or two to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in electronic mechanical assembly and/or cabling and harnessing

  • Ability to communicate and understand verbal and written instructions

  • Excellent Team player with proven ability to accomplish goals through collaboration

  • Flexible with jobs that can assist in other areas

The reference Total Target Compensation (TTC) market range for this position inclusive of annual base salary and the variable compensation target is between

Total Target Cash (TTC) 36282.00 - 60470.00 USD Annual

This reflects how companies in a similar industry and geographic region generally pay for similar jobs. This range helps the Company make pay decisions as one data point among many. Where a position falls within this range is also dependent on other factors including but not limited to the employees career path history competencies skills and performance as well as the companys annual salary budget the customers program requirements and the companys internal equity. Thales may offer additional benefits and other compensation depending on circumstances not related to an applicants status protected by local state or federal law.
