Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant Java Kafka!

In this role you will be a key contributor to the design development and deployment of scalable Java-based microservices and Kafka applications. You will work in a fast-paced Agile environment collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions using modern development practices and cloud-native technologies.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalableJava 8backend services usingSpring BootandMicroservices architecture.

Design and implement Kafka-based solutions for real-time data streaming and processing.

Write and maintain unit and integration tests usingJUnitand related testing frameworks.

Ensure code quality through peer reviews and automated testing pipelines.

Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines usingGithubCircleCI andJenkins.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of services.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups retrospectives and demos.

Work closely with Product Owners QA and other developers to deliver features on time. Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field.

Hands-on of experience in Java application development and Maintenance

Strong hands-on experience with:

o Java 8 or above versions

o Spring Boot

o Microservices

o Kafka

o Junit or Unit Testing or test-driven development

Experience working inAgile/Scrumenvironments.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Excellent Interpersonal skills and effective communication skills to interact with Client

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Strong hands-on experience with:

CI/CD tools: Git Jenkins CircleCI

Cloud platforms: GCP or similar

Angular Rxjs Ngrx

Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest or Jasmine.

Experience with containerization tools likeDockerand orchestration withKubernetes.

Familiarity with monitoring tools likePrometheusGrafana orStack driver.
