Internship Program Overview:

Our Interns are our talent pipeline for GF across the globe. Our goal is to provide students withmeaningfulwork experience that will equip them with the skills to embark on a career in the fast-paced and growing semiconductor industry after graduation. As an intern at GFyoullexperience one-on-one mentorship work assignments that prioritize your growth and potential professional development opportunities and the chance to network with executives.

Summary of Role:

You will assist the team in various tasks including helping to develop ETL frameworks and supporting high-volume data projects. You will also be given the opportunity to learn about data warehousing performance tuning and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Responsibilities include:

Contribute to Technical Solutions: Work with the team to understand business needs and help translate them into technical solutions using AWS Cloud ServicesPySpark EMR Python and Cloud DBs like Redshift/Postgres.
Support Data Projects:Assistin PL/SQL development and support projects that involve high-volume datasets.
Propose Improvements: Contribute ideas and recommendations to enhance existing systems.
Assist with Monitoring: Helpmonitordatabase transaction activity andutilization.

Other Responsibilities:

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental Health Safety & Securityrequirementsand programs.

Required Qualifications:

Actively pursuingaBachelors /MastersinComputer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technologyor related fieldthrough an accredited degree program during the time of internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiaritywith oracademic exposure toAWS ServicesBig DataconceptsPySparkPython andCloud DB Redshift.
Data Warehousing Concepts:Foundational knowledge of data warehouse architecture trends and design approaches including Dimensional Modeling and ERD design.
Documentation and Flow Mapping:Strong conceptual understanding with solid technical documentation skills particularly the ability to document data flows within business processes.
