- Lead the detailed design contract procurement and construction phase of a flood relief schemes.
- Coordinate with internal multidisciplinary team local authorities stakeholders and contractors.
- Manage project scope budget schedule and quality in accordance with client and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present technical reports specifications and contract documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety environmental and engineering standards.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 7 years experience in civil engineering with at least 2 years in project management.
- Experience in flood risk management or drainage design or water infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation planning processes and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in project management tools and engineering software (e.g. MS Project QGIS AutoCAD Civil 3D).
- Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Driving licence.
