The Galvin Middle Schoolis seeking an exceptional and dynamic candidate to serve as a Full Year Permanent Building Substituteforthe remainder of the 25/26 school year. JOB SUMMARY

To provide instructional and supervisory support to students. TheFull Year Permanent Building Substituteis a full-timefull year position that mains purposes is to fill in for educational or instructional position with the school as needed by the building administration. This positions isan integralpart of the successful day-to-dayoperations of building and support the entire school community.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Fill in as a classroom teacher educational assistant or support personnelwith the school buildingas assigned by the building principal
2. Support the school staff and students
3. Be a positive and collaborative member of the school community
4. Flexibility and patience are key to success in this role

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School degreerequired Bachelors preferred
2. Teaching degree preferred
3. Recent experience working with school-age children
4. Alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable
5. Other requirements as deemed necessary by the Superintendent of Schools

REPORTS TO: buildingPrincipal/Assistant Principal

SUPERVISES: Not Applicable

WORK YEAR:180 days

COMPENSATION:$165 per day; 5 paid days off
