Job Summary
Under direction of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs the Tutor will work regularly with cohort in either large group course-specific reviews or smaller group of 5-8 students through the CDM curriculum. The large group reviews will be presented typically before an exam. The smaller groups are a Tutoring intervention for students in academic difficulty or formal Academic Probation. The Tutor will supply effective facilitation in a manner that will improve students academic skills while developing mastery of subject material. Student independence rather than Tutor dependence will be the emphasis of Tutor. This position will also adhere University and CDM guidelines as well as follow University and CDM documentation policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
Qualifications Standard Education: Bachelors Degree required Experience: Some doctoral or professional experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters Degree preferred
