Dietary Aide Stonewall Living Center
Join our dedicated team at Stonewall Living Center where we are committed to providing exceptional care and nutrition to our residents. As a Dietary Aide you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive nutritious well-prepared meals in a warm and welcoming environment. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while working in a supportive and team-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation portioning and serving of meals to 53 residents three times daily year-round
- Ensure all meals meet dietary guidelines and residents specific nutritional needs
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Support the dietary team in stocking and organizing supplies and ingredients
- Provide courteous and respectful service to residents during mealtimes
- Document and report any dietary concerns or special requests from residents to the appropriate staff
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service healthcare or a similar setting preferred
- Ability to follow dietary guidelines and safety procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Compassionate attitude and commitment to resident well-being
