Job Summary
We are seeking a Land Development Engineer to lead civil design for K-12 schools commercial retail and institutional projects. This role includes stormwater management utility design permitting and collaboration with architects developers and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design calculations and project drawings
- Prepare engineering analysis reports and stormwater designs
- Manage permitting and agency approvals
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress
- Mentor junior staff and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Civil Engineering
- 5 years of civil engineering experience 3 years in land development
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and Microsoft Office 360
- K-12 site design experience is a plus
- Knowledge of zoning permitting and sustainable design practices
- Must live within 2 hours of Rochester Hills MI
