We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical system design for theme park rides and large-scale engineering projects in Orlando. This is a hands-on role involving full system design stress and load calculations hazard and risk assessments and field commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and implement mechanical systems from concept to installation
- Perform stress fatigue and load analysis for complex assemblies
- Conduct hazard and risk assessments to ensure safety and reliability
- Create mechanical drawings and assemblies using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Lead technical teams and supervise contractors
- Manage smaller projects including schedules budgets and subcontractors
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 7-10 years of mechanical engineering experience including full system design
- Theme park ride or entertainment system design experience preferred
- Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Knowledge of stress analysis fatigue and risk assessment
- Ability to travel up to 35%
