Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our growing team. As a Junior Video Editor you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality videos that effectively communicate our brand and services to our clients. You will work closely with our marketing and communications team to create engaging video content for various platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce videos for marketing campaigns social media and other platforms
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to understand project goals and objectives
- Select and edit footage to create a compelling and cohesive story
- Add music sound effects and other elements to enhance the overall video
- Ensure all videos are delivered on time and meet the companys standards
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve video quality
- Assist with video shoots and other production tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in film video production or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in video editing and production
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro or similar programs
- Strong understanding of video production techniques including lighting sound and camera operation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines
- A portfolio of previous video editing work is preferred
