Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Food Scientist to lead product development for nutritional beverages and powders. This role drives innovation from concept to commercialization ensuring product quality stability and clinical effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize nutritional beverage and powder formulations
- Conduct R&D on new ingredients and nutrition solutions
- Collaborate with Medical Nutrition Marketing and Sales
- Provide scientific guidance for product and clinical development
- Ensure compliance with GMP food safety and aseptic processing
- Build vendor relationships and source high-quality ingredients
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Food Science Nutrition or related field (Masters preferred; PhD/PharmD a plus)
- 5 years in product development in food beverage supplement nutraceutical or biotech
- Experience with R&D ingredient interactions and nutrient stability
- Knowledge of GMP food safety standards and aseptic processing
