Job Summary
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) provides patient-centered nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include collecting and reporting patient data carrying out provider orders and performing therapeutic procedures appropriate for the patients age and condition. All duties are performed in accordance with established clinical guidelines and professional standards. Additional related tasks may be assigned as needed.
Responsibilities

Provide nursing care as directed by an RN.

Gather document and report patient data accurately.

Perform therapeutic procedures within licensure and training.

Follow clinical policies procedures and safety guidelines.

Support the care team by assisting with patient needs and unit functions.

Complete additional duties as assigned.

Experience
Preferred (Not Required)

Experience in emergency or critical care environments.

Comfortable working with ventilators tracheostomies PICC lines and similar clinical equipment.

Two years of direct patient care experience.
