Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure safe efficient and high-quality execution of all maintenance activities.
- Manage daily preventive maintenance corrective repairs rebuilds and equipment reliability tasks across assigned shifts.
- Assign technicians to work orders strategically to minimize downtime and support production demands.
- Troubleshoot and guide the team through electrical mechanical and automation issues including PLCs and automated systems.
- Use the companys CMMS to create assign and track work orders; run reports; and ensure maintenance priorities are met.
- Audit completed work verify accuracy and implement continuous improvement practices to elevate equipment performance and reduce repeat failures.
- Collaborate with operations and other departments to ensure smooth communication effective planning and rapid response to plant needs.
- Provide leadership through coaching training performance reviews clear expectation setting and corrective action when needed.
- Participate in shift meetings planning sessions audits and reliability projects.
- Assist with staffing decisions interview support and onboarding new hires.
- Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing safety procedures identifying hazards and ensuring all work meets quality and compliance standards.
- Perform other maintenance-related duties and improvement projects as assigned.
