Location

Fully remote within California with occasional in-person court appearances and two firm events per year in Los Angeles.

Job Description

• Manage a caseload of workers compensation matters from start to finish.
• Represent clients in depositions hearings and settlement negotiations.
• Draft legal pleadings discovery responses and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and ensure compliance.
• Communicate frequently with clients and opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to achieve strong case outcomes.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar license.
• Minimum of 1 year of workers compensation experience (plaintiff or defense).
• Strong writing negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently and efficiently.
