Job Summary

We are actively hiring an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Houston Texas. This is a full-time night shift role ideal for nurses with acute care experience in labor and delivery. Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe high-quality nursing care to laboring postpartum and newborn patients
Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond to changes in condition
Assist with labor delivery postpartum recovery and newborn care
Collaborate with physicians nurse practitioners and healthcare team members to implement care plans
Educate patients and families on labor delivery postpartum and newborn care
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records following hospital policies and protocols

Required Qualifications

Active Texas RN license or multi-state compact RN license in good standing
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Minimum 3-5 years of acute care experience in Labor and Delivery (ADN or new grads will not be considered)
Updated resume with accurate job history including units and dates worked
Availability to work full-time night shifts exclusively

Preferred Qualifications

Extended experience in womens health labor and delivery postpartum care or maternal-fetal services
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team
Honest and clear about preferred shift unit and location
