Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team in Houston Texas. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in CVOR or Main OR settings and a strong commitment to providing the highest standard of patient care and surgical support.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons and nurses during operations by ensuring proper instruments and supplies are available
- Maintain sterile fields and follow infection control standards at all times
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures
- Ensure instruments and equipment are properly cleaned sterilized and maintained
- Support the team in both emergency and scheduled surgical cases
Requirements
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA or NCCT including CST number and expiration date
- Minimum of one year of current CVOR experience for the CVOR role
- Minimum of two years of experience in the Main OR; Orthopedic experience preferred
- Must have an up-to-date resume with accurate job history and unit details
