Senior HVAC Service Technician

Our client is seeking a Senior HVAC Service Technician to join a growing customer-focused team. Youll work on a variety of commercial and industrial projects including hot water systems DX systems chillers and more across a diverse territory.
This role balances technical expertise with hands-on service and its ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while supporting a growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose repair and maintain HVAC systems including hot water DX chillers cooling towers fan systems VFDs and low voltage controls
- Conduct equipment inspections start-ups commissioning and preventative maintenance
- Provide technical training and support to clients and team members
- Identify opportunities for new services and solutions
- Travel within the assigned territory (Dubuque to Waterloo Burlington Grinnell eastern Iowa western Illinois Missouri to Minnesota)
- Maintain accurate service records using company laptop and mobile systems
What You Bring
- 5 years of HVAC experience preferably in industrial or commercial settings
- Expertise in VRV/VRF systems Daikin equipment and refrigeration service
- HVAC license and EPA certification
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication
- Valid drivers license
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
- Physical capability to lift 75 lbs. and work in confined or elevated spaces
