Job Title: Branch Manager

Job Location: Al Wukair Qatar (on-site)

Reporting to: Owner

Position Overview

The Branch Manager will be responsible for leading and growing the Qatar operations overseeing both day-to-day activities and business development initiatives. This role requires a seasoned logistics professional with strong leadership abilities deep industry knowledge and a proven track record in driving operational excellence and commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

  • Oversee daily branch operations ensuring smooth and efficient workflow across all functions.
  • Manage the warehouse delivery network and administrative processes.
  • Ensure adherence to operational KPIs including On-Time Delivery (OTD) shipment accuracy and service quality.
  • Implement and maintain operational policies SOPs and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal corporate standards.

2. Business Development & Sales

  • Lead commercial efforts to expand the client base and drive new business acquisition.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly revenue targets.
  • Identify market opportunities build strategic partnerships and enhance brand positioning in the Qatar market.
  • Maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure retention and satisfaction.

3. Financial & Performance Management

  • Oversee branch P&L focusing on revenue growth cost control and profitability.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and forecasts for senior management.
  • Monitor key financial KPIs and implement corrective actions where required.

4. Team Leadership

  • Build mentor and manage the local team as the operation scales.
  • Ensure staff adhere to performance standards operational processes and customer service expectations.
  • Promote a positive and productive work environment while fostering continuous improvement.

5. Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure full compliance with Qatars local regulations industry requirements and internal policies.
  • Oversee quality standards related to service delivery and shipment handling.
  • Support audits risk assessments and regulatory inspections as needed.

  • Monthly Revenue Growth
  • New Business Acquisition
  • Operational Efficiency: OTD % accuracy rates turnaround times
  • Profitability & Cost Control
  • Customer Retention & Satisfaction Scores

Requirements:

Experience & Background

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the courier/logistics industry.
  • Strong familiarity with the GCC logistics market.
  • Proven track record in both operations and business development.
  • Prior leadership experience managing multi-functional teams.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive business growth.
  • Solid understanding of logistics operations service delivery and warehouse management.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and customer relationship skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Leadership mindset with the ability to scale teams.
