About the Job:
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to oversee key initiatives within our clients fintech portfolio. This role focuses on delivering projects that involve digital payment features platform upgrades regulatory enhancements and new product functionalities. You will coordinate closely with technical teams product leadership compliance and operations to ensure that each project moves from planning to rollout smoothly and with clear alignment to business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of fintech-related projects such as system integrations mobile app enhancements API implementations and compliance-driven updates.
- Develop project timelines resource plans and deliverable trackers that are realistic and aligned with team capacity.
- Work with Product Owners and technical leads to clarify requirements and ensure the team understands objectives and expected outcomes.
- Identify risks early escalate issues when needed and propose practical solutions to maintain project momentum.
- Prepare regular progress reports and maintain project documentation for both internal teams and senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate release schedules and work closely with QA DevOps and support teams to ensure smooth deployments.
- Help improve project workflows and support continuous improvement initiatives within the technology group.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Project Manager with hands-on involvement in managing projects within the fintech or banking industry.
- Strong understanding of both Agile and traditional project delivery approaches and the ability to use the right method depending on the project needs.
- Experience handling technical initiatives involving APIs integrations backend services or digital financial products.
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira Confluence Asana Monday or similar project management platforms.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage expectations across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Certifications such as PMP Prince2 or an Agile certification are an advantage but not required.
