Job Summary

We are seeking an IoT & AI Engineer to develop intelligent energy solutions for solar PV ESS/BESS and smart energy infrastructure. You will work on IoT connectivity edge devices data engineering and AI models that improve energy reliability forecasting and predictive maintenance in Malaysias fast growing RE sector

Key Responsibilities

IoT Engineering

Develop end-to-end IoT systems for energy sensors gateways meters inverters and BESS
Configure and manage data communication
Implement edge processing device management and remote diagnostics
Ensure stable data ingestion pipelines from field sites to cloud servers

AI & Data Engineering

Build AI/ML models for energy forecasting anomaly detection and predictive maintenance
Process large datasets from solar assets weather sources and IoT sensors
Develop automated data pipelines ETL processes and model deployment workflows
Support real-time analytics and recommendation engines for energy optimisation

Requirements

Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Mechatronics Computer Engineering Data Science or related field
Experience with IoT devices embedded systems gateways or industrial communication
Proficiency in Python with knowledge of ML frameworks (TensorFlow PyTorch)
Familiarity with cloud IoT services
Strong understanding of databases data streaming and API integration.
Experience in solar PV BESS SCADA/EMS or energy systems is a strong advantage
