Youll take ownership of a portion of the firms portfolio handling everything from bookkeeping oversight through to management accounts VAT and corporation tax work. This isnt a box-ticking positionyour input will directly shape the quality of service clients receive. Youll be speaking with business owners helping them understand their numbers and offering sensible practical guidance. Youll also work alongside a small supportive team who value clear communication and steady reliable work.

Key duties
Managing bookkeeping accuracy and maintaining strong financial records
Preparing monthly or quarterly management accounts
Completing VAT returns corporation tax work and self-assessments where needed
Speaking directly with clients to explain financial information clearly
Suggesting ways to improve internal processes and client experience
Ensuring compliance deadlines are met without last-minute rushes
Key requirements
Minimum AAT Level 4 qualified
UK accountancy practice background
Confident communicating with clients and explaining figures in plain language
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload
Comfortable using accounting software
