The campus store supervisor under the supervision of the Marketing Operations Manager performs a wide range of duties and responsibilities from ordering receiving inventory control customer service register reconciliation and other duties as required to effective and efficiently run the campus store.Job Description:
Essential duties and responsibilities
Orders and receives merchandise into the system of record
Researches new items for team approval
Processes and packages online orders to be shipped
Assists customers and receives payment or processes returns using the tools and systems provided
Wraps or bags merchandise for customers
Run reports to check on sales inventory and others as needed
Provide daily sale reports to Finance
Maintain accurate inventory levels and coordinate yearly inventory count
Schedules coverage for the store including coordination of student assistant schedules and time approvals
Assists Operations Manager with reporting on revenue targets
Collaborates with the marketing team on promotional campaigns and pop-up stores
Coordinates store pop-ups during special events including packing lists set up and staffing
Helps to set up advertising display or arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales
Stocks shelves counters or tables with merchandise
Answers customers questions in person or over the phone concerning location price and use of merchandise
Removes and records credit card slips in register at end of day balancing it with the totals provided by the Point of Sale System
Updates online store including clear product descriptions categorizing and organizing products to highlight new items
Other duties as assigned
Required knowledge skills and abilities
Familiar with Lightspeed or similar point of sale system
Minimum qualifications
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
Two years of retail experience
