Position Summary
The University at Buffalo School of Nursing is seeking exceptional part-time adjunct faculty who are dedicated to providing quality educational experiences and to teach in clinical settings for the undergraduate pre-licensure program. Teach Clinical courses are offered primarily Wednesdays through Saturdays. The position requires availability to teach in clinical settings approximately 12-16 hours per this role you will: Attend (in-person or virtually) meetings in the fall and spring semesters. Communicate effectively and respectfully. Maintain a strong commitment to Nursings ethics and values as well as the schools mission and vision. Physical Demands
Ability to perform typical staff nurse duties in acute care settings.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelors degree in Nursing and clinical experience are required. Enrolled in a Masters Degree program in Nursing. Current NYS Nurse Registered Professional (RN) License (at the time of hire).
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with one of the following: Pediatrics maternal-child health mental health medical/surgical and other acute care settings such as critical care urgent care orthopedics telemetry neurology oncology and long-term care.
