Job Summary
A creative and passionate Art ECT is required to join a thriving Visual Arts department at a Good-rated school in Colchester starting immediately. This is an outstanding opportunity to grow your professional practice in a school that truly values creative subjects and invests in its Art team.
About the Role
You will teach Art at KS3KS4 supporting students in building foundational skills in drawing colour theory painting mixed media and conceptual development. You will also contribute to:
GCSE portfolio preparation
School displays and exhibitions
Optional after-school creative clubs
The department runs an open-door studio culture where Art teachers collaborate on ideas share resources and support student progress collectively. As an ECT you will receive structured mentoring and feedback designed to build confidence and technical teaching skill.
