Job Summary
A highly respected Independent School in Ipswichis seeking a talented and inspiring Art Teacher to join their thriving Visual Arts department for an immediate start. About the Role
You will teach Art from KS3 through Sixth Form working within a department that prides itself on a high standard of student artwork consistent academic results and a strong creative culture. Lessons prioritise exploration conceptual thinking and refining technique. Students regularly engage with drawing painting mixed media sculpture textiles and digital design.
The role also includes opportunities to:
Support GCSE and A-Level coursework portfolios
Contribute to whole-school exhibitions showcases and gallery events
Develop after-school art clubs or specialist workshops
Liaise with local and national art organisations to broaden creative opportunities

Person Specification
QTS or relevant Independent School teaching experience
